Our therapist offers 60-minute virtual individual therapy for children 10 years and older, adolescents, and adults for a variety of issues, and primarily specializes in the treatment of trauma, issues related to mood and anxiety, and substance use.
Kate Millichamp specializes in treating mood and anxiety-related symptoms and disorders and primarily uses cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), exposure and response prevention (ERP) therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing (MI), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) as treatment modalities.
Kate Millichamp also specializes in the treatment of sexual abuse/assault, childhood sexual abuse/assault, medical trauma, child abuse or childhood trauma, suicide, and grief and loss. Our therapist is trained in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT) and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT).
Kate Millichamp also works with preteens, adolescents, and adults experiencing difficulties related to substance use. She is familiar with 12-step approaches to recovery as well as other non-abstinence-based or harm-reduction approaches to substance use, and primarily uses motivational interviewing (MI), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) as treatment approaches.
